Don’t underestimate the importance of “staging” when selling your home.  Buyers want to picture themselves in the home they are interested in.  Eliminating YOU from the appearance of the home gives them a better opportunity to picture your home as theirs.  The easiest way to start is to de-clutter.  Pack away items you don’t use every day.   Your planning on moving anyway!  Neatly stack boxes in the garage or rent a storage unit.  If you have more furniture that you use every day, store this as well.  Bruce up the front door as well, buyers spend a few minutes here before entering.

In summary; Organize, Discard, Scrub and Clean.  Touch up paint if necessary too.  On the outside of the home, trim, mow, weed, plant flowers, etc.
